Ensure that you complete your tasks by the timeframe you set. Check off the activities you’ve previously completed. If you complete your projects before the due date, reward yourself with a piece of chocolate or anything you like,
But remember, the reward must not be harmful in any sense.
3. Recognize Priority Task:
Recognize the distinction between significant and urgent jobs. Manage your work effectively so that it can be time-saving. Start your day with something significant rather than something that can wait till later. Complete the urgent and vital tasks first. Do not wait for reminders from your boss.
4. Keep Focus:
Maintain your attention. If there is critical work that needs to be done, stay stuck at your desk till work completion. Going for a walk in the middle of a pressing task disrupts continuity and makes one lose concentration. People who waste time at work struggle to cope with job stress.
5. Pay attention to mini-breaks:
Include time in your daily calendar for personal calls, internet browsing, tea breaks, and other minor activities. It is significant to give attention to those mini habits of staying productive. Humans are not machines that can continuously work for eight to nine hours. Set out 30 to 45 minutes to check social media, make calls to friends and family, take smoking breaks, but not recommended, and do other activities.
6. Be realistic and set achievable goals.
Set goals for you that are both attainable and reasonable. Know what you must accomplish and by when. Be honest with yourself. It makes no sense to give a task that you know would take considerably longer than an hour a time allocation.
7. Avoid overloading yourself with multitasking and unnecessary time-framing.
If you don’t think you’ll be able to finish a job by the deadline, tell your supervisor flat-out no. He won’t feel awful, so don’t be afraid. Most likely, he/she could give the identical task to any of your coworkers. Accept projects in which you have a lot of confidence and the ability to pick the points.
8. Maintain Law & Order:
Maintain law and order and punctuality with your responsibilities. Unless there is an emergency, avoid taking unwanted leave from work. Arrive on time to work so that you may properly arrange your day.

Place everything where it belongs. Files need to be maintained in the appropriate and respective drawer or shelf. Important documents should be stapled and placed in the right folder. Get a little more organized by practicing. You can avoid wasting time on pointless research.
10. Don’t consider your employer a money-making machine:
Do not consider your company to be anything. Do not consider your company to be anything more than a money machine. Adjust your mindset. Playing games on your computer or phone shouldn’t be done during work hours. It is not professional. Don’t limit your work to when your supervisor is there. In the long term, taking responsibility for your work pays off.
11. Use Tools
Make the use of an organizer and/or planner a habit. Use time management tools like Clickup, Trello (I use) and there are many others that can help to stay organized. You may make better plans with the help of an organizing tool. Keep a notebook and a pen on hand. On loose sheets, do not put phone numbers or email addresses; loose papers might be lost somewhere in the office or one-way home. Also, control your email. Make distinct folders for every customer. Keep your desktop free of distractions.
